Getting Here
- Reagan National Airport (DCA) – The most convenient airport to downtown Washington D.C. is Reagan National Airport. Located just outside the city in Arlington, VA, downtown D.C. is just a short Metrorail or cab ride from Reagan National. Reagan National provides direct flights to many of the largest metropolitan areas in the country.

- Dulles International Airport (IAD) – Dulles International Airport is the region’s largest airport, and is located about 30 miles from downtown D.C. in Sterling, VA. There are several options for getting to/from Dulles including Metrorail and Metrobus service, the Washington Flyer, and a regular taxicab.

- Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) – While Baltimore-Washington International airport is the farthest from downtown D.C., it offers some of the best fares, as well as several convenient transportation options for getting to D.C., including the MARC commuter train.

- Union Station (Amtrak and MARC Rail) – Union Station provides service via Amtrak and the MARC commuter train. If you fly into BWI and come to D.C. on the MARC train, you will arrive and depart from Union Station. Union Station is centrally located in Northwest D.C. Not only does Metrorail serve Union Station, but the city’s business district and the best places to stay and eat are only a short cab ride away.

Where to Stay – While in D.C. on business, it will likely be most convenient for you to stay in the Northwest quadrant of D.C. Northwest D.C. is host to the majority of the city’s law firms and government offices – not to mention some of our best eateries! The most convenient D.C. neighborhoods are Chinatown, Metro Center, and Dupont Circle. In any of these areas you will be within walking distance to many great restaurants, and will also have Metrorail access.
Getting Around – D.C.’s Metrorail is certainly the fastest and most convenient ways to get around D.C. And luckily, we have one of the safest and cleanest metro systems around! You can find a map of D.C.’s metro stations here [http://www.wmata.com/rail/maps/map.cfm]. Look for tall brown columns with a large “M” identifying the station entrances. Colored stripes around the column show which lines serve the station.

What to Do – We hope that you are able to find time during your stay to visit the museums, monuments, and parks that D.C. is known for! The most popular destination is, of course, the National Mall.
